All races start at the Isthmus starting line (reef marker to Big Fisherman’s buoy) and will finish at the L.A. Light. The race is 20n.m. in length. Each Skipper will report his finish by radio to the fleet and take his own time and telephone the Rear Commodore. The race radio frequency will be announced before the start of the race.
The race will be cancelled if there are fewer than four boats starting. All handicaps will be PHRF rule. No headsail changes will be allowed after the start of the race. No spinnakers are allowed.
Scoring: A low point scoring system will be used. Each yacht shall score points equal to her finishing position. A DNF (did not finish) and a DSQ (disqualified) shall score points equal to the number of finishers plus one. A DNS (did not start) will score the number of finishers plus two. If the series ends tied, the yacht finishing the most races wins. If still tied, the yacht with the lowest total corrected time of all races in which the tied yachts competed head to head, wins.
